Sophia Alexandria Mason, known as “Sam” to her friends, was enjoying her life. On the plus side, her home based bookkeeping business was doing very well and she had just purchased the house of her dreams. Even better, things were starting to heat up with her boyfriend, Jason. She also found time to take in a new dog. On the minus side however, there were a few problems starting to pop up and they had the potential to blight her happiness. Sam has to deal with an obnoxious potential client as well as her problem brother’s unexpected return. His troubles being brought to her door was something she definitely hadn't factored into the equation. All this seems minor next to the fact that Sam's discovers her new house seems to have come with a little "something extra" that hadn't been listed in the sales details! As events escalate, Sam will discover even more surprises.

This was such a cute read. It gave me the warm fuzzies. I adored all of the characters and the plot line was quite original to me. On the downside, it ended so abruptly and didn't answer the questions I had. It could've been another 400 pages long...Product details

The Ghostly Guardian eBook Laurie Cook Reviews
I enjoyed this book. I like ghost and old house stories. The plot was rather unique and enjoyable. I found myself skipping over a lot of the extended detail that didn't add to the story but seemed to just make the book longer to read.

Humorous and kept you guessing
It was a delightful an interesting story. I laughed a lot. It was a delightful break from a stress filled week.
The story is ok. The characters are pretty good. But the editing needs serious work missing words, incorrect grammar, homonyms used incorrectly. A good editor could have helped tighten up the plot and add some suspense as well as correcting the bad grammar. Telling a story based on the details of shopping trips and making coffee does not result in a compelling mystery.
